A reusable water bottle - saves you money on buying bottled water and you can fill it up almost anywhere just check if the places you are going to has decent drinking water.

A small travel towel - a lesson from the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. Its always good to have one, cause you never know if your gonna need one. Plus travel ones are super compact.

Small travel first aid kit - yes you will probably need something from it at some point be it a small cut or even a hangnail.

Travel Sewing kit - yep at some point that button may look ready to pop off or you get a small rip having a tiny kit does help.

Small flashlight - you can get a small one for a reasonable price and can fit in your purse or pocket. It helps to have a little bit of light.

Extra passport pics - traveling abroad have a few extra passport pics. People have lost or have had their passports stolen. Having those pics will help when you need a get your passport replaced

Extra ziplocks - ziplocks are great for storing leftover snacks when travelling as well as dirty undergarments. Ziplocks are great to pack most of your clothes in. They can work just like space bags and compress your clothes down for extra space without needing a vacuum, just roll out the air and zip shut.
