This small little diner is located on the harbor. If you love Nascar, the owner has a nice collection that decorates the walls. Open early morning for the fisherman and locals and closes at 11am. They only serve breakfast, which is more home style cooking.
Country fried steak is made fresh everyday. Cakes with two eggs and your choice of hashbrowns or fresh fruit. I got it with fresh fruit. My eggs i got over easy and they were perfect, my go to when poached eggs aren't offered. The country fried steak was yummy, it had nice flavor and texture. The country gravy was really good. The portion was just the right amount.
Got one pancake to try and it was just like making it at home, it was big almost the size of the plate. It was nice and fluffy, but not heavy.
Seafood omelette with hashbrowns and toast. It came with a fresh house made sauce that reminded my husband of a shrimp cocktail type of sauce.
All the food was hot when it came out. We got out food pretty fast and our server was a really nice woman who was very attentive and friendly. The prices were super reasonable too. Definitely worth a stop in for a bite to eat.
