Khun Thai - Brookings,OR

Again our AirBnB host recommended the place to us and we thought we would try it out. Definitely worth it and would go back if we are ever back in town. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has an odd layout. At first you will think its three different places but its all one place. Turns out there is a little story to it. The front was originally an A&W restaurant with a Radio Shack and a Pub in the back parts. The owner bought the front part after A&W left then bought the other spots when they left. They do have live music there as well and a bar. The food was great and the atmosphere of the place was lively.

Gyoza potstickers

Light and crispy. These are filled with pork and cabbage. The dipping sauce was really tasty.

Thai iced tea

Usually when I get a thai iced tea it's really sweet, but this one was just the right ratio of tea, milk and sweetness. Had to resist drinking it too fast and just savor the taste.

Spicy green beans with beef

One of my favorite Thai plates. This was a very nice plate we got it with moderate heat (sensitive stomach) I couldn't stop eating it. Definitely full of flavor. The beef was nice size cuts, I like mine a bit smaller cut.

Pineapple fried rice with beef

Oh the pineapple fried rice that was nice. I love pineapple fried rice and here is was just right, nice mix of meat, egg and veggies. So full of flavor too.

Drunken noodles with chicken

Mmmm these noodles reminded me of chow fun. We got it with chicken. It also came with mushrooms and peppers. Now drunken noodles do not mean they have alcohol in them. In fact it relates to the dish being very spicy that one will drink a lot to calm the burning sensation from the spices. We got ours mild loved it so much.
